More about Thimbleberry
This lesser known species of the Rubus family produces delicious berries. They are reminiscent of raspberry jam. They are also very ornamental with their pink blossoms, feeding a host of pollinators for months on end. They start blooming in July and bloom and create berries all the way until frost occurs. They would be worth growing for their flowers alone- the berries are a lovely bonus.
